I need to post on here more

Recently, I’ve been reminded that this blog exists due to the fact that my friend Alyssa started a blog. You can find her blog Alyssa Unfiltered here. (She has some crazy hot takes and I’m definitely invested) However, even though I’ve been reminded that this blog exists, that doesn’t mean I post here. In fact, I tend not to post many places at all. I’m rarely active posting on social media, and I prefer to make connections face to face or by doing something as opposed to writing to someone. I don’t write long messages to people, I really just pop into their messages and ask them directly “what’s up?”

However, I’ve decided that this blog is going to be a place for me to share about my interests and things I’m doing. I’ve just finished serving at a summer camp, and I’m currently unemployed (should change in the next couple weeks). I’ve been accepted to Cedarville University (my dream school), however, I’m not planning to attend there for another year since I graduated a year earlier than usual. Even once I do get a job, however, I still plan to use my free time to do creative things and run my Minecraft server.

I’ve been taking my faith more seriously recently. When my dad and step-mom got married, my dad started attending at her church. However, I decided to continue attending at my current church. I have various differences in beliefs with them, and have attended the same church for ten years, and I honestly don’t believe I have a good reason to leave the church unless I truly am forced to by my dad (and I know that he would not do that to me, especially as he is still a member of my church).

I’ve updated my main website since the last time I posted. It’s made with a tool called Astro, and after only using it for a short period of time, I already am using it as a go-to tool for new websites. For example, I used it to make a website for a recently-founded Christian organization. (I’m currently a member, but am considering leaving because of differences in missions, however, I am still completely open to helping them with their website.)

My YouTube channel is still dead, and I’m not planning on reviving it any time soon, especially since I’m leaving for college in a year and will be working for this year. Even the summers are full with camp volunteer opportunities and simply taking a break from the normal schedule, just as I used to do in high school and before.

Now that I’ve updated this blog, I might end up leaving it again. I’ll hopefully post on here again to update you in the future, especially after I start college and am exposed to new experiences.
